School Board Honors Music Students

They out-sang and out-performed thousands of other competing student musicians in the state. 

And, on Monday, the Hatboro-Horsham School Board took time out during its meeting for music teacher Bill Naydan to recognize high school students Nick Pescatore, Benjamin Saltzburg, and . 

"This process begins with approximately 5,000 students," Naydan said of the three-tiered audition process for selecting the top choral and instrumental musicians. 

Pescatore and Saltzburg were recognized for excelling in the school's band competitions. Appleby and Knauss, both chorus students, performed in prestigious music concerts this spring.
