Upper Dublin Rapist Sentenced For Horsham Library Assault: Report

UPPER DUBLIN, PA — A resident at a home for troubled youth in Upper Dublin has been sentenced after raping and beating a young intern at the facility, according to court documents and media reports.

Naseer Johnson, 20, will spend the next 13 to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty to rape, aggravated assault, and related counts, court documents show.

The Times Herald reports that Johnson was a resident of a facility for at-risk youth, The Villa, located on Bethlehem Pike.

The attack on the female intern occurred on Dec. 23, 2015 following a counseling session in the cafeteria with Johnson, according to the report.

Johnson, 18 at the time, reportedly banged the victim's head against the wall and the floor repeatedly before sexually assaulting her on the floor.

Later, police also connected Johnson to an attack on another woman at the Horsham Public Library, the report states. That incident occurred in the bathroom of the library on Nov. 17, 2015. In that incident, Johnson reportedly smashed the woman's head on the floor, but the victim was able to escape.

Johnson was declared a sexually violent predator and must report his address to state police for life, court documents state.
