Take a pictorial tour of the Historic Kenderdine Mill Complex.

Members and friends of the were treated to a tour of the Historic Kenderdine Mill Complex, known as Millbrook, on Keith Valley Road in Horsham.

Approximately 40 guests toured the grounds and three historic buildings, all of which have been meticulously restored and updated by previous owner Ron Mintz.

The 1734 Grist Mill, which has been placed on the National Register Of Historic Places, and the barn guesthouse, were abuzz with lively conversation of  history enthusiasts during Saturday's tour. The original stone walls, mechanical riggings and local area farm antiques on display lent an atmosphere of reverence to the past of Horsham Township - largely considered a farming community up until the 1950s.

So important was the Kenderdine Mill to the community, that the present Keith Valley Road was once a cart path that led from Pennsylvania Governor William Keith's 18th century estate to the grist mill.
