Join us for a joyful, life-affirming afternoon of klezmer and Ukrainian music with Kommuna Lux, the acclaimed band from Odesa, Ukraine—and help bring food, safety, counseling, hope and comfort to Ukraine’s children of war.
This interfaith, nonpartisan benefit supports Common Man for Ukraine’s emergency food assistance and trauma-recovery retreats for Ukrainian children who have lost a parent in the war.
Iryna Mazur, Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Philadelphia, will open the proceedings.
Doors open at 2:30 PM. A reception is included, casual attire is welcome, and plenty of free parking is available. Registration at no charge is available to refugees, recent immigrants and anyone for whom the ticket price is an obstacle.
Food keeps children alive. Love, safety, counseling and hope will help them to truly live again.
