• Man dies after crash in Lycoming County (wnep.com) — A 20-year-old Jersey Shore resident died after a Tuesday evening crash on Route 44 near town, according to state police. Investigators say he was passing in the oncoming lane, lost control returning to his lane, and was struck by a northbound car while not wearing a seatbelt.
   

• Jersey Shore boys tennis defeats Pequea Valley, advances to PIAA Class AA quarters (sungazette.com) — Jersey Shore High School’s boys tennis team stayed perfect at 19-0 by beating Pequea Valley 4–1 to reach the PIAA Class AA quarterfinals. Strong singles play and a dramatic doubles comeback in South Williamsport carried the Bulldogs into Friday’s 5:30 p.m. matchup at Hershey Racquet Club.
   

• Jersey Shore man hit with simple assault charge (sungazette.com) — A Jersey Shore resident has been charged with simple assault and harassment following an alleged domestic incident earlier this month, according to Lycoming Regional police. Officers say a woman reported being struck in the thigh by a thrown object, and court records note visible bruising. The man was arraigned and is being held in Lycoming County Prison on $25,000 bail.
