• Former Jersey Shore school employee ordered to stand trial for multiple sex assault charges (lockhaven.com) — A former Jersey Shore Area Middle School paraprofessional has been ordered to stand trial on numerous serious sex-assault-related charges involving a minor at his Jersey Shore home, and remains jailed in Lycoming County. District officials stress that the allegations are unrelated to his school duties, emphasize student safety, and say he has been removed from any contact with children while the case proceeds.
   

• Teen charged after alleged stabbing in Jersey Shore (sungazette.com) — A 14-year-old Jersey Shore boy has been charged in juvenile court after another teen was stabbed with a box cutter Sunday afternoon on Broad Street, according to Lycoming Regional police. Both teens live in the borough, and the 17-year-old victim was treated at Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital for neck and upper-body cuts before recovering at home.
   

• Bittner claims the Nittany 40 victory at Clinton (sungazette.com) — Race fans around Jersey Shore may recognize a local name on the podium at Clinton County Speedway, where Beech Creek’s Timmy Bittner captured the Nittany 40 sprint feature. In the Junior Sprints, Emery Macgill of Jersey Shore claimed a strong third-place finish as several central Pennsylvania drivers battled through multiple divisions.
