ā¢ Residents implore commissioners to OK data center health-impact study (thetimes-tribune.com) ā Jessup is one of several Lackawanna County communities that could be affected by proposed data centers and related power plants, and residents packed Wednesdayās commissioners meeting urging a countywide health-impact study. Commissioners support the idea but delayed approving a specific $165,000 proposal, saying they want to seek additional options, frustrating many who feel time is running out.
