• Marian Catholic announces endowed scholarship honoring Jack and Marcella Huber (standardspeaker.com) — Families in the Jim Thorpe area now have a new opportunity for Catholic high school tuition help, thanks to an endowed scholarship honoring longtime Marian Catholic teacher Jack Huber and his wife Marcella. Funded in part by a $25,000 anonymous matching gift, the award will be given annually to an incoming Marian Catholic freshman from the Jim Thorpe area, expanding access for local students for years to come.
