• D9CL League Ambassador Award Winners (theriver989.com) — Johnsonburg Area High School is one of several District 9 schools in the new D9CL “all sports” league, which just wrapped up its first successful year. The league created Ambassadors Awards at each member school, and Elk County Catholic honored three-sport standouts Payton Newton and Christian Sloff for their sportsmanship, leadership, scholarship, and athletic excellence.
