• DAR chapter holds Quilts of Valor presentations (mainlinemedianews.com) — A local Navy veteran from King of Prussia was recently honored in Wayne with a handmade Quilt of Valor recognizing his service aboard the USS George Washington and humanitarian work after Japan’s 2011 disaster. The ceremony, hosted by the Jeptha Abbott Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, also celebrated other area veterans and highlighted the group’s ongoing historic and charitable work tied to Valley Forge.
   

• JLL report: Location-based entertainment surges with 16.5M-SF pipeline as families trade down (binje.com) — King of Prussia Mall is highlighted as a prime example of how big-box retail spaces are being transformed, with a former Lord & Taylor now home to a massive Netflix House immersive experience. A new JLL report says these kinds of entertainment-focused redevelopments are surging nationwide as families seek closer-to-home, more affordable fun instead of pricey vacations, reshaping malls and power centers across the country.
   

• Delaware County lawmakers respond to being on suspect's ‘hit list' (delcotimes.com) — A state senator whose district includes King of Prussia was among several Democratic lawmakers named on alleged ‘hit lists’ that led to terroristic threat charges against a Lebanon County man. The targeted officials describe prior threats, gaps in how they were notified, and renewed calls for better security, mental health services, and stronger consequences for political violence while stressing they’ll continue serving their communities.
