• Kingston American Legion Post 395 continues commitment to helping local veterans (timesleader.com) — Kingston’s Black Diamond American Legion Post 395 helps local veterans facing hardship through an assistance program supported by businesses and residents. An annual basket raffle helps fund the ongoing work, and donations can be dropped off at the post at 386 Wyoming Ave. 
• Luzerne County court notes: Marriages 11/8/26 (citizensvoice.com) — Kingston residents Diane C. Mizenko and Eugene John Zivny appear in Luzerne County’s marriage license list for Oct. 27 through Nov. 2.
