• Late-Night Water Call at Presque Isle Raises Safety Concerns (erienewsnow.com) — Lake City Fire Company crews joined a late-night multi-agency response to a report of a swimmer in the water at Presque Isle, which turned out not to be an emergency. Officials, including a Lake City water safety instructor, are using the incident to warn residents about after-dark swimming bans, hidden lake hazards, and the importance of life jackets as summer crowds arrive.
