Homefields | Homefields Care Farm

We are so excited to open our gates for the 2026 season at Homefields and&nbsp;would love your help to get our crops started and the soil ready for a beautiful year of growth.
What We’ll Be Doing Together
There is a job for everyone, regardless of your experience or comfort level. Whether you enjoy the quiet focus of the greenhouse or the physical satisfaction of working the earth, we have a place for you:
<ul>
<li>Nurturing new life by seeding plants in the greenhouse.</li>
<li>Transplanting and direct seeding out in our open fields.</li>
<li>Preparing the beds for their new residents through weeding, tilling, and raking.</li>
</ul>
Keeping You Comfortable
Please come prepared for a bit of sun or a light sprinkle. We recommend:
<ul>
<li>Sturdy shoes (boots are recommended for muddy or uneven ground)</li>
<li>A hat and sunglasses for those bright mornings.</li>
<li>A rain jacket, just in case we get a gentle spring shower.</li>
</ul>
We’ve got the rest covered: We will provide gloves, sunscreen, and bug spray to keep you protected while you work.
A Note on Weather: We love planting in light rain! However, if heavy storms are in the forecast, we will reach out to cancel or reschedule to keep everyone safe and dry.
