1 Dead After Hatfield Crash Saturday, Investigation Underway
The incident left the roadway shut down for hours.
HATFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — One person is dead after a fatal crash between a truck and a motorcyle in Hatfield Township on Saturday night which shut down a major roadway for hours.
The incident occurred on Aug. 26 at around 8:30 p.m. on the 3500 block of Bethlehem Pike.
A 21-year-old Sellersville man was driving a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcyle when a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 collided with it.

The motorcyclist was taken by helicopter to a nearby trauma center where he was declared dead.
He has not been public identified by authorities.

The driver of hte truck, a 66-year-old Souderton resident, was not injured.
Bethlehem Pike was closed between Township Line Road and Route 309 into the early morning hours Sunday as the investigation continued.
Hilltown Twp Police Department, VMSC, Hatfield Fire Company, Colmar Fire Company, and Perseverance Fire Company all responded to the scene.
