NORTH WALES, PA — Local residents will have the chance to experience a bit of history while celebrating the birth of North Wales.

The borough is turning 150 this year, and as part of the celebration, a special vintage train ride will be held along the Lansdale/Doylestown SEPTA line.

The Baldwin steam locomotive, built in 1925, will take passengers from North Wales and through the Gwynedd Valley of the line's historic Bethlehem branch. Organizers say its the first time since 1985 that the New Hope Railroad's number 40 train has left its home environment.
