2020 Lansdale Beer Tasting Festival Canceled

While organizers held out hope for some time, this summer's Lansdale Beer Tasting Festival has been canceled.

LANSDALE, PA — While organizers held out hope for some time, this summer's Lansdale Beer Tasting Festival has been canceled due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

The festival made the decision on Sunday, citing Gov. Wolf's extension of the stay at home order for the area through June 4.

One of the region's top celebrations of its kind, the Festival had been scheduled to take place on June 27.

"In these uncertain times of the COVID-19 pandemic, we cannot take away from you our guests, vendors, sponsors and volunteers, as your attention needs to be focused on your businesses and family’s livelioods," organizers said in an announcement. "It is not a decision we take lightly and understand that many of you are ready to get out and enjoy our great community."

The Festival hopes to return in 2021, and, with the extra planning time, says it will be the "best you have ever seen."
