3 Victims In Fatal PA Turnpike Crash Identified
The massive accident shut down the road for hours and led to an evacuation of nearby homes.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — The three victims of the fatal crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike's Northeast Extension over the weekend have been identified.
James Achey, 57, and Suzette Achey, 52, both of Seaford, Delaware, as well as William Ramos, 63, of Perth Amboy, New Jersey were killed, the Montgomery County Coroner's Office confirmed Wednesday.
The names of the victims had not previously been released as officials notified next of kin. The precise cause of death for each individual remains under investigation.

The crash occurred at around 12:30 p.m. near mile marker 26 in Worcester.

A vehicle came to a complete stop in the right hand lane and a second vehicle came up behind it to assist, according to authorities.
A tanker truck carrying jet fuel coming up behind the two stopped vehicles was unable to slow down in time, and slammed into the vehicles, police said.
The tanker truck driver, along with the driver and passenger in the second vehicle, are now all dead.
All three bodies were found while authorities were sifting through the wreckage left in the wake of the crash.
The crash left the Turnpike at a standstill for hours as crews worked to clear the scene.
The Montgomery County Coroner's Office, the county Hazmat team, and Pennsylvania State Police were joined by multiple local fire, police, and EMS agencies in responding to the crash.
