5 Souderton School District Gets Up To $35K Grant
Great news for Souderton Area School District.
SOUDERTON, PA — The Souderton Area School District is among several local districts to receive a grant worth up to $35,000, local officials announced.
State Sen. Maria Collett (D Bucks/Montgomery) said 221 districts across Pennsylvania received a total of $8.7 million.
"The smartest investments we can make are investments in our children’s education,” Collett said in a statement. "Making sure that kids have the access to training in computer science and STEM fields, facilitated through these grants, sets them up for the successful futures they deserve."

The grants are aimed at boosting participation "among underserved and underrepresented students" in computer science and STEM.
