ACLU Lansdale Holding 'Community Police Conversation' Event

Police departments from across the North Penn area will participate in the event organized by ACLU People Power.

LANSDALE, PA — The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is organizing an event to improve community and police dialogue in the greater Lansdale area.

Police departments from across the North Penn area will participate in the event, which is being organized by ACLU People Power in Lansdale.

The event will take place on Thursday, Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. at the Upper Gwynedd Township Building on 1 Parkside Place in North Wales.

"People Power members want to facilitate greater community/police dialogue and interaction on the issues that most concern our community," organizers said.

Police departments from throughout the North Penn School District area, including Upper Gwynedd, Hatfield, Lansdale, North Wales, Montgomery, and Towamencin, will be on hand.
