TOWAMENCIN, PA — Great news local commuters: Old Forty Foot Road Bridge reopened last week in Towamencin after eight months, ahead of schedule.
The bridge over Skippack Creek was shut down back on April 4, 2018 after, structural damage was found during an inspection.
The old bridge was replaced with a new, two-span, pre-stressed, concrete spread, box beam bridge.

The original structure was built in 1934.
