Alleged Lansdale Drunk Driver Flips His Car After Crashing Into Parked Vehicle: Police

The suspect was driving down the road when he "suddenly swerved."

A Montgomery Township man has been charged with driving under the influence after slamming into a parked car and flipping his vehicle in Lansdale on Sunday afternoon, according to police.

The suspect, 30, was driving his 2016 Subaru Forester near the 800 block of N. Broad Street at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon, police said, when he ”suddenly swerved” and hit a 2012 Acura MDX that was parked on the side of the street.

The Forester overturned and was severely damaged on its roof and sides.

The driver appeared visibly intoxicated when police responded to the scene, and he was placed under arrest.

No injuries were reported.
