Ambiance Design Donates $2,000 to Travis Manion Foundation

Proceeds were the result of company fundraiser held in November and December

Ambiance Design, a provider of superior quality custom window treatments, presented a $2,000 donation to Travis Manion Foundation on January 5, 2017. The funds were raised between November 11 and December 11, 2016. For every project Ambiance Design completed during that time period, $100 was donated to the foundation.

“As a veteran-owned company, we are thrilled to be able to make this donation to Travis Manion Foundation,” said Laura Hawley, owner of Ambiance Design. “Veterans’ causes are near and dear to us because both my husband Dan and I are veterans of the United States Air Force.” Hawley continued, “We chose Travis Manion Foundation because we live in Bucks County and the organization does so much for local veterans.”

Travis Manion Foundation empowers veterans and families of fallen heroes to develop character in future generations. In 2007, 1st Lieutenant Travis Manion (USMC) was killed in Iraq while saving his wounded teammates. Today, Travis' legacy lives on in the words he spoke before leaving for his final deployment, "If Not Me, Then Who..." Guided by this mantra, veterans continue their service, develop strong relationships with their communities, and thrive in their post-military lives. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation's heroes lives on in the next generation. To learn more about the foundation visit http://www.travismanion.org.
