Ambiance Design Welcomes Operations Manager

Ambiance Design, a provider of superior quality custom window treatments and home décor, announced today that Dan Hawley has joined the firm as its operations manager. Hawley will be responsible for overseeing production and services to residential and business accounts, while ensuring that the firm’s customer service always exceeds the needs and expectations of its clients. Hawley comes to Ambiance Design from The Silk® Companies LLC, a family of businesses that provides products and services to the residential and commercial real estate markets. Hawley served The Silk® Companies as chief operating officer and chief technology officer and brings with him to Ambiance Design decades of proven experience as a leader, manager and motivator.

During his tenure with The Silk® Companies LLC, Hawley helped the firm become a national leader in the real estate and insurance industries through his oversight of the development and management of its business processes and technology infrastructure. Prior to his tenure at The Silk Companies, Hawley held several positions in the telecommunications and technology industries, including project management, technical consulting and executive leadership for companies such as AT&T, Bell Atlantic and Merrill Lynch.

Hawley’s proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force, where he acquired valuable skills in technical training, project management and leadership. Hawley currently resides in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with his wife of 28 years and five children. He is an active member of the community, and a motorcycle enthusiast.
