Anyone Can Now Be Tested For Coronavirus At Montgomery Co. Sites
You no longer need to have symptoms or meet any criteria in order to be tested for coronavirus in Montgomery County.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — You no longer need to meet any criteria in order to be tested for coronavirus in Montgomery County.
As the county moves into the yellow phase and testing resources become more widely available, anyone is now welcome to be tested for the virus at one of the county's several sites.
Testing availability has slowly increased since the start of the pandemic, when the first testing site in Montgomery County at Temple University's Ambler campus had strict rules about who could receive a test.

“While we’ve moved to the yellow reopening phase, there remains an active virus in our midst," Montgomery County Commissioner Val Arkoosh said. "The county is focused on early detection and containment of any new outbreaks. We have eliminated restrictions for testing so that anyone who needs or wants to be tested can be tested, whether or not they have symptoms."
Montgomery County's drive through testing site at Montco Community College in Whitpain is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., by apopointment only. The site is open from Monday through Friday, and closed over the weekends, moving forward. Book appointments online here.Walk-up testing is available at two other locations, the Norristown Regional Health Center on 1401 Dekalb Street, and the Office of Public Health on 364 King Street in Pottstown. Both sites are open Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and appointments are required.
