Armed Women Dressed As Nuns Attempt Bank Robbery: Authorities
A pair of armed women dressed as nuns attempted to rob a bank in Pennsylvania on Monday afternoon, the FBI said.

TANNERSVILLE, PA — Two armed women dressed as nuns attempted to rob a bank in Monroe County on Monday, according to the FBI's Philadelphia Office.
The incident occurred at around 12:30 p.m. on the Citizens Bank on Route 611 near the junction with Route 715, authorities said.
Two women, dressed in nuns' habits and veils, with one carrying a black handgun, entered the bank and demanded cash from the teller, the FBI said.

However, the women fled the scene before getting any money.

The FBI described the suspects as Hispanic women standing around five feet to five feet, two inches tall.
