Today I am grateful that I sometimes have the attention span of a gnat. Some days I have so many wonderful distractions that I no longer even care when I’m scattered and just go with it.
The other day when I was sitting outside reading, the lighting was beautiful. I wish I could carry good lighting around with me. . .oh wait! I can. It was the sun bouncing off the filter of the umbrella and hitting the dangly thingies and casting shadows. How beautiful the sky is. What a perfect color of blue, with only a few thin white puffs floating by like feathers in a pond.

A squirrel was running along the garden row and a bee spooked him by flying out of the pine tree, so the squirrel did a perfect “cat” prat-jump-fall and took off through the mulch, kicking up divots of bark on his way. Too funny. I didn’t get a picture because it was too fast. I also didn’t get a picture of the fluttering hummingbird who stopped by a few times either.
That’s probably a good thing. I already have the attention span of a gnat and I don’t know who has less than that.
