Blue Bell Man, Former VP of Hill International, Dead At 69

Robert S. Guzek Sr. of Blue Bell Robert S. Guzek, Sr., 69, of Blue Bell, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015. He was the husband of Marjorie (Carman) Guzek, with whom he shared 42 years of marriage.

Born June 23, 1946 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Benjamin and Marguerite (Keashen) Guzek. Mr. Guzek was employed as the Director of Management Consulting for the former Arthur Young & Co., followed by serving as a Principal with Coopers & Lybrand Consulting.

Later, he was employed as Vice President of Hill International, Inc. before creating Robert S. Guzek & Associates, serving as President until his retirement in 2008.

Robert was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church, Plymouth Meeting. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, nature walks, learning about complex mathematics, and cheering the Philadelphia Phillies.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Christine Lagerberg and husband, Clint, of Thompsons Station, TN, and Robert Guzek, Jr. and girlfriend, Maura Cooper, of Lambertville, NJ; three grandchildren, Abigail, Ely, and Jack; and siblings, Richard Guzek and Joan Guzek, both of Philadelphia. Family and friends may greet the family from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church, 3050 Walton Road, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.

The Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Drexel University, P.O.
