Blue Bell Robber Used Mickey Mouse Ornament In Home Break-In: Cops
A burglar used a Mickey Mouse lawn ornament and a shovel to break into and ransack a Whitpain home.
WHITPAIN, PA -- A burglar used a Mickey Mouse lawn ornament and a shovel to break into and ransack a Whitpain home on Monday, according to police.
The image above, provided by police and caught on the home security camera of one of the homes vandalized, showed the suspect attempting several ways to break through the door of a home in the Blue Bell section of the township.
He first tried to break the door open with his body, before picking up a Mickey Mouse lawn ornament and smashing it against the window, police said.

After that failed, he picked up a shovel lying nearby to break in, according to police.
Once inside, the home was ransacked.

Authorities said it was one of several residential burglaries that took place in the Blue Bell section of Whitpain on Monday.
