DJ ALi Behind the Scenes

Mic plugged into the mixers, mic volume fader up all the way, master volume up to midrange, mic in hand and turn on the show... For me, the microphone is not only thing I used to be vocal about my DJin. I am also speaking out loud about my DJin when I leave the venue.

After stepping down from the stage with all my gear in hand, I am still vocal about my DJin through promotion on social networks, giving out business cards, maintaining a website, promoting with banners, flyers and t-shirts. I just purchased custom DJ ALi t-shirts from Philly Native Clothing Company http://www.phillynative.com/ and can't wait to share those with my fans.

FACEBOOK/DJALiPHILLY. I have been promoting on many social networks for many years, but recently I noticed a serious increase of friend requests. I went from receiving a few friend requests a day to receiving hundreds a day. I don't know what I did to flip the switch or open the gate to so... many people reaching out to me but I know... something I am doing is paying off. 

LOCAL AREA- LANSDALE. I started this blog in March to reach out to Montgomery county, especially Lansdale to let them know theres a great female DJ in the area. I also starting DJin @ 3RD & WALNUT BAR/CLUB/RESTAURANT(https://www.facebook.com/pages/3rd-Walnut-Bar/173471546017773?fref=ts) ON SATURDAYS FROM 9-2 AM, where I am mixing all types of music for the local community. I love getting involved in this area and hope to be mixing live at some local events this summer. 

GOALS. I never end with my goals but I thought I might share that with all of you. I am not just a party/bar DJ but am building up for something more.

1. I would like to be a household name in my local community. Someone the township, non-profits, bars/clubs, restaurants and residents call if they need a DJ for an event.

2. Eventually, and maybe sooner than later I would like to go on tour as a DJ, as my popularity grows in different areas. 

3. I always have this goal of growing fans on social networks to keep everyone up to date.
