End of the world or just another Saturday in May?

Is Saturday really the End?

Hey ya'll.

Has everyone heard that Saturday, May 21st, is supposed to be the end of the world? Harold Camping has really outdone himself this time. I have heard people are quitting their jobs and going through their life savings "just in case." I have a feeling these people might have a case of the "Monday Blues" come Monday and they are begging for their job back. I also heard on the radio this morning that there are Christian vets who will "take your pets in case Jesus picks you." How nice of them! Do you get them back when you rise from the dead as a zombie?

Any fear I had at all was quickly washed away when I heard Harold state that he was "crazy for Christ." While I am not here to denounce any religion, I find that statement hard to take with a straight face.

So what, if anything, is everyone doing to prepare for this event? Are you building bomb shelters? Stocking up on water? Buying knives (or whatever you use to kill zombies) to protect your family? I, for one, made sure I "liked" Jesus on Facebook. That way, when it comes to being judged, I can always say "You are one of my social networking interests! Pick me!"

I would love to hear your thoughts.
