Participate in the Lansdale Memorial Day parade

'Kids of All Ages' are encouraged to participate in Monday's annual Lansdale Memorial Day Parade.

The committee for the Lansdale Memorial Day Parade would like to invite everyone in the area to join them in marching or riding up Main St. this memorial day with either the Scouts or their patriotically decorated manually powered riding vehicle (tricycle, scooter, bicycle, unicycle, wagon, etc). This is a very worthwhile event that remembers the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces and a great opportunity for everyone to have some fun while showing how much we all support this very important day.

The parade goes from Cannon Ave to Memorial Park on Monday, May 27th at 9:00am, followed by a service in the park, beginning at 10:00am.

If there is rain forecasted for that day an announcement will be made on WNPV 1440am radio at 7:30am the day of the parade. The parade will be cancelled and the ceremony will be held at Penndale Middle School, behind Memorial Park.

You can participate in the parade in a couple ways.

  • All the area Boy Scout, Cub Scout & Girl Scouts are invited to march in the parade and help carry the many U.S. and State flags.

  • Ride in the parade with your patriotically decorated manually powered riding vehicle (tricycle, bicycle, unicycle, wagon, etc). Decorate your riding vehicle in any way keeping with a red, white & blue patriotic theme, the more creative the better. All children should be accompanied by an adult. Either walking along side or riding with.

  • All Scouts and riding vehicles will be meeting at 8:15 AM on Main St. between Cannon Ave and Mitchell Ave.  Note: there is no cost to participate.

If you have any questions what-so-ever, please don’t hesitate to ask.
