Turn UP The BASS!!- DJ ALi's Story

Remixing music that makes me bounce, speakers turned up loud, shaking the floor with people dancing... These are some of things I aim for in a good night of DJin. But mostly, what I shoot for is the people smiling and enjoying their day or night. As a DJ for 9 years I have been sharing my talents with the people around me which is a reward in itself.

Cue up the song, push up the fader! It starts with one song in my headphones. The sound travels through my mixer, into my amp, through both my speakers and spreads to everyone in the room. It's infectious, like helping another person, just because it's the right thing.

I use to think I was only helping myself by making my dreams come true as a DJ but things have changed. I have changed. I am growing as an individual and DJ. I have been promoting my DJ Life on sites like Reverbnation.com, Twitter.com, Myspace.com, Pinterest.com and Facebook.com for years. Recently, I have begun sharing more about how I view life, not just as a DJ. I have begun to share my hopes and dreams and I seem to be creating humor and inspiration for other people, following my story. I also see my fan base growing and more people cheering me on. I believe with this increase in my fan base and support, I can do anything. I can spread my mix to more people and make more people smile.

Turning up the bass, shaking things up and living the dream. DJ ALi is doing all of these. I know that even if the DJ ALi name never fully catches on and I never DJ for a stadium of 1,000 people, I am very thankful for every performance, every time I make people dance. It's all about enjoying life and sharing that happiness with others.
