Wake Up Call: Livingroom University
If you are woken up every morning by the horrible screeching of the usual electric alarm clock, you are not alone. I have been fortunate enough to discover a much easier way to wake up.

How is your wake up call? By wake up call, I’m referring to your alarm clock. If you are woken up every morning by the horrible screeching of the usual electric alarm clock, you are not alone. Millions of Americans start every day with the horror of that noisy device. I have been fortunate enough to discover a much easier way to wake up. It's an iphone app called isleep.
The beauty of this app is you can customize your alarm to wake you up with music. Gently escalating in volume I currently am awoken by The Hawaiin Rainbow song. The famous “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” song from the Wizard of Oz, with a Hawaiian twist. Believe me, it has been so much better the past 6 months waking to a gentle melody over the horrorible sound of my electric alarm clock.

If you have an iphone, or any smart phone for that matter, I highly suggest starting your day off to something much more subtle than the relentless buzzing of an typical electric alarm clock. I’ve also perused Amazon.com and other sites who offer similar clocks, but usually with a hefty price tag.
