Today I am grateful for the Broad Street Run in Philadelphia. I am glad they are broadcasting the entire thing on TV this year so I don’t pull a hamstring reaching for the remote to switch channels and catch a minute or two.
Good luck to everyone who does this amazing ten-mile run. The wheelchairs start first and then seven corrals of people start after that. The really good runners reach the Navy Yard in about 49 minutes, before others have even started. Really? If I had started last Tuesday, I might be able to maneuver my way to the finish line by today!

I have family members running and that’s great. I hope all of them do well and stay safe. As for me. . .I’m recording it. . .and watching. . .and it’s exhausting!
