The programs provide students the opportunity to elevate their leadership skills to motivate a diverse workforce, develop ethical analytical skills to uphold organizational integrity, and create leadership strategies through evidence-based and data-driven decision making.

“Our goal is to help motivated students have access to quality programs that advance their careers and academic interests,” Cabrini President Dr. Donald B. Taylor said in a news release. “This new partnership with Montgomery County Community College provides students the opportunity to earn a degree at a location and in a format that works for them—so that they can focus on success.”

MCCC’s University Center offers programs that are specifically designed for working adults. Cabrini joins four existing University Center partners: Albright College, Chestnut Hill College, Immaculata University and Temple University. Now with the addition of Cabrini College, students can choose from eight bachelor’s degrees, three master’s degrees, one doctoral degree, and two graduate certificate programs.

“The University Center creates vital pathways by which our students, faculty, staff and the community at large can conveniently pursue advanced degrees from our exceptional partner colleges and universities,” MCCC Interim President James Linksz said in a statement. “Through this new partnership with Cabrini College, we are pleased to offer these advanced Leadership degrees.”

Many of MCCC’s graduates choose to continue their education at the University Center. Cabrini’s Bachelor of Arts in Leadership provides a direct pathway for students who are enrolled in MCCC’s Associate of Applied Science in Management degree program, which includes a new Organizational Leadership certificate and concentration available starting this fall 2016 semester.

Also starting in the fall of 2016, MCCC will offer a new Professional Leadership Certificate of Completion grounded in problem solving, analytical, and leadership competencies to support training needs of area workforce partners.
