-- In recognition of World Hunger Day, Keystone Opportunity Center will host its first-ever Fill the Truck Community Day on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Souderton Rotary Park, 459 Wile Ave., Souderton.
The free, family-friendly event will bring community members together to help fill a truck with food and personal care donations for Keystone’s food pantry, support local families facing hardship and connect residents with helpful community resources.
Designed as both a day of service and celebration, Fill the Truck Community Day will feature donation drop-offs, resource tables, community partners, volunteer opportunities and activities for families.
Community members are encouraged to bring canned goods, nonperishable food items and personal care products to help stock Keystone’s food pantry and support local programs. Financial contributions will also be accepted to support programs focused on food assistance and housing stability.
Attendees can also visit information tables featuring Keystone programs, local nonprofits and community organizations, meet event sponsors and partners, and learn about volunteer opportunities.
Businesses and organizations interested in sponsoring the event are invited to participate.
For years, community support has helped Keystone respond to food insecurity and financial hardship affecting local families. Organizers hope the inaugural event will become an annual tradition of giving and community connection.
