WATCH: Camel Walking In Snowstorm On Route 309 In Souderton
Breaking: Motorists had more than just the snow to contend with on Thursday afternoon.

SOUDERTON, PA — With all the humps that drivers heading home during Thursday's snowstorm had to surmount, they probably didn't expect a camel to be one of them.
But that's just what happened on Route 309 south on Thursday afternoon, near the exit for Route 113 at Souderton.
The "camel" appears to have only one hump, which would make its technical name a dromedary.

In multiple videos shot by passers-by, the unphased ungulate appears to be held by reins out of the passenger side of a van. The van has a trailer hitched to the back, and is at a stop on the shoulder of 309. The whole scenario was reportedly part of the cause of significant delays in the area in the afternoon.
It's not clear what the camel was doing on the road.
