CANCELLED: White Road Park Concert

Rain has forced Lansdale's free White Road Park Concert to be cancelled.

Inclement weather has forced the cancellation of Tuesday night’s White Road Park Concert in Lansdale, according to Lansdale’s Facebook page.

The Montgomery County Concert Band was scheduled to play.

Earlier, the page had encouraged concert-goers to do a “rain dance” as stormy weather swept over the region.

Unfortunately, the weather isn’t looking much better over the next week, with rain and clouds expected most days.

The free White Road Park Concert series takes place at Lansdale’s open air amphitheater.

“The Tuesday evening program features a wide variety of music genres to satisfy the taste of our diverse listening audience,” Lansdale’s official site says. “You will hear everything from classical to country performed by the finest bands in the Tri-State area. So bring along a blanket or lawn chair and join us in our annual celebration of live music.”

The schedule for the remainder of the summer is below. All events begin at 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening.
