Canine Blood Drive to be Held at North Penn Animal Hospital

LANSDALE, PA -- The Penn Animal Blood Banks is in urgent need of blood, and your dog can help.

The drive will begin at 4 p.m. on January 18, 2017.

Dog donors should meet the following requirements:

• has a good temperament and is a willing volunteer
• weighs between 55 and 100 lbs
• is between 1 and 6 years of age
• is in excellent health
• is up to date on vaccines
• is not taking any medication other than flea, tick or heartworm preventative

Donating dogs receive a delicious food reward, a full blood check, heartworm test, and tick borne disease test for free. They are also eligible to receive free blood donations in the future.
