Catalytic Converter Thefts Investigated In Hatfield

The thefts of the valuable metal may be connected to a crime spree in Chester County.

HATFIELD, PA — A series of catalytic converter thefts is under investigation in Hatfield Township, police announced this week.

The thefts occurred at a car dealership on Bethlehem Pike on July 7.

Police described the suspect as a heavy-set white male with dark hair. He was driving a Toyota Prius, according to authorities.

Hatfield Police said that they believe the same vehicle was used during a similar crime spree in Chester County.
