Chesterbrook Academy Preschoolers Donate $700 to CHOP

Students also donated toys and blankets for local children in need this holiday season

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in North Wales recently partnered with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to give back this holiday season. The students held a breakfast with Santa fundraising event at their school, which featured food, cookie decorating, arts and crafts, and photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Students raised $765 which will be used to benefit children undergoing treatment at the hospital. Students also donated 42 gifts to Toys for Tots and 45 blankets to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Allentown, Pa., after holding donation drives for the organizations. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of helping others, especially during the holiday season.
