'Coffee With A Cop' Coming Up In Montgomeryville
Have you been to one of the popular "Coffee with a Cop" events yet?

MONTGOMERYVILLE, PA -- The Montgomery Township Police Department will be hosting their popular Coffee with a COP event at the Montgomery Township Community & Recreation Center on Saturday, November 19th from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., they announced Thursday.
The Center is located on 1030 Horsham Road.
According to officials, the goal of the "Coffee with a Cop" series is for the community to come out and get to know the local police officers patrolling their neighborhood over a complimentary cup of coffee.

Individuals arealso encouraged to express any ideas or concerns they may have. Free child fingerprinting will be available during the course of the event as well.
“I can see the police officers and the community members engaging in such passionate and lively conversations about the community during these events, and that’s really a special thing to see,” said Chief Scott Bendig in a statement.

During this same day, most Montgomery Township Community & Recreation Center amenities will be free and open to the public, including both residents and non-residents, the township said.
This includes the fitness facility, group exercise classes, youth lounge, senior lounge, indoor running track, and the Child Watch Room.
The Montgomery Township Community & Recreation Center is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
