Conductor Assaulted On Lansdale/Doylestown Line: Report

The conductor on a Lansdale/Doylestown SEPTA train was assaulted on Friday.

The conductor on one of SEPTA's Lansdale/Doylestown Regional Rail trains was assaulted late Friday afternoon, according to a report.

The Philly Voice reports that the incident occurred at 4:30 p.m. as the train was travelling from Center City to Doylestown.

The train stopped at Fern Rock Station and the conductor was reportedly taken to Hahnemann University Hospital, where he was later released.

The suspect fled the scene and has not been arrested.
