Eagles Star Lane Johnson Coming To Gwynedd To Speak
Star offensive lineman Lane Johnson is coming to the North Penn area later this month for a special event.
GWYNEDD, PA — Philadelphia Eagles star lineman Lane Johnson is coming to the greater North Penn area later this month for a special speaking event. Tickets to the event are now sold out.
Johnson will be the guest speaker at the North Penn Valley Boys and Girls Club's annual dinner on Wednesday, May 29.
The event will begin with a reception at 4:30 p.m. before the dinner at 6 p.m. at the William Penn Inn, which is located on 1017 DeKalb Pike.

The North Penn Valley Boys and Girls Club was founded by a small group of community volunteers in Lansdale in 1966. Since then it's served close to a thousand teens a year in Lansdale, Souderton, and Ambler with free after school programs, a summer day camp, a homework assistance program, and more.
More than 200 guests and club members are expected at the event, which also include the presentation of scholarships and various awards to outstanding club members. Johnson is slated to speak at 6:45 p.m.

The 34-year-old Johnson has helped the Birds to two Super Bowl appearances and has been named to five All Pro teams in an illustrious career in Philadelphia.
