Earth Day at Montgomery Mall

Montgomery Mall will host an Earth Day event, April 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in front of Dick's Sporting Goods:
Free residential shredding (limit three file-sized boxes, no businesses). Free electronics recycling (no TVs or household appliances, no businesses).

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Macy's Lower-Level Court:
Info and demonstrations on composting, raised-bed gardens, rain barrels, rain and stormwater management, solar panels, energy conservation, kids' crafts, free reusable shopping bags and energy-efficient cars.

Speakers include Richard Whiteford, Climate Reality Project, at 1 p.m.; Anne Crowley, PennFuture, at 2 p.m.; and Thomas Schneider, North Penn School District, at 3 p.m.
