Milestones In Music Lansdale Studio Grand Opening

Milestones In Music, LLC™  is celebrating the opening of their new studio in Lansdale with a Grand Opening event on Saturday, April 30, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at their  facility located at 227 S. Broad Street.  This family oriented event will feature clowns, face painting, prizes and preview classes for the children.

Weekly classes are offered to students three months up to age six.  In these Parent/Child classes, students are introduced to the musical world through singing, imitating sounds, rhyming, tonal recognition, instrument exploration and creative movement.  Students are also exposed to multicultural music and learn music symbols.

With the opening of the new studio, Milestones In Music has also added Autism Movement Therapy classes.    “Autism Movement Therapy combines a structured program of movement and music, connecting the left and right hemispheres of the brain for a ‘whole brain’ cognitive re-mapping approach that significantly increases concentration, focus and social interaction in the child,” says Judy Jones, owner and director of Milestones in Music.  The Grand Opening is also a fund raiser for Autism Speaks.  “For each student who enrolls in one of these classes during the Grand Opening, we will donate 20% of the tuition to Autism Speaks.”
