Revolutionary War soldiers, camp followers, and travelling merchants from the region will be encamped at the Peter Wentz Farmstead, March 24-25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
Visit the Farmstead to experience the daily camp life of Revolutionary War soldiers from regiments of the
Mid-Atlantic Department of the Continental Line as they prepare for battle reenactments throughout the region.
They will practice drills and maneuvers at various times each day. The camp followers will be busy with meal
preparation and domestic activities often performed by women throughout the war. Merchants will be selling
wares typical of the colonial period on Saturday only.
If you would like more information about this program and others, please call the Peter Wentz Farmstead
at 610-584-5104 or visit www.historicsites.montcopa.org.
