Fight Over Butter Led Lansdale Man To Assault Grandmother: Report

In a separate incident, he reportedly threw his mother on the ground and kicked her, before biting his sister and running away.

A Lansdale man will spend 10 days to 23 months in jail for two assaults in 2014, including one on his grandmother, according to a Montgomery News report.

Patrick Carpenter, 21, allegedly grabbed his 74-year-old grandmother from behind in “bear hug” and threw her to the ground after an argument over the type of butter had used, according to the report.

Earlier in October of 2014, Carpenter got in another fight with her when his grandmother offered to let his dog out, the report states.

This set Carpenter off for unknown reasons, and he charged her, smacked her in the face, and rammed her back into a closet door where she hit her head, according to the report.

A separate domestic incident involving his mother occurred in April of 2014, when he shoved her on the ground and kicked her, before biting his sister, the report states.
