A free Five and Dime Art Show takes place tonight from 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. in the upstairs ballroom of Third and Walnut Bar in Lansdale.

There will be cigarette girls to purchase unique art from and various familiar games with rare prizes. Live music by Eric Visnov and Friends With Murder, and comedic entertainment by Michael O’Donnell.

2. chemistry students and staff celebrate the 17th annual Tie Dye Day today in chemistry classes at North Penn High School. Staff has been preparing 750 students to make tie dye T-shirts using what they learned in chemistry classes this year.

3. First Friday returns to Lansdale tonight along Main Street from Broad Street to Richardson Avenue from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Music featured includes Almost Fab!, The Mahlors, The Calhouns, Toy Soldiers and Satellite Hearts.

4. Meet the world’s first woman boxing judge – Carol Polis - at 5:30 p.m. at . Polis has written “The Lady is a Champ” and will be signing copies on First Friday.
