A presentation on sexual offenders and sexual crimes tonight at Penndale

1. The , the Montgomery County Sexual Assault Task Force, and the Montgomery County Adult Probation Department are partnering with North Penn School District to host “Protecting Your Children from Sex Offenders” tonight at 7 at the auditorium. During the presentation, evidence-based practices used to manage the sex offender populations in local communities will be discussed, as well as services for victims and what adults can do to protect children.

2. North Penn School District’s fifth-grade March Madness basketball tournament continues today with Hatfield versus York Avenue, and Gwyn-Nor versus Knapp. The purpose of the tournament is to foster school spirit, teamwork and sportsmanship through fun-filled and exciting games.

4. A book discussion group meets at 7 p.m. at Lansdale Library. This month’s selection is “Unbroken” by Laura Hillenbrand.

5. PennSuburban Chamber hosts an economic forecast luncheon at noon at William Penn Inn, 1017 DeKalb Pike, Gwynedd. Guest speaker is Luke Tilley, Ph.D., economic advisor with The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. Cost is $30 for members, $40 for non-members.
