Hatfield Democrats hold their annual chili cookoff tonight

1. The Hatfield Democratic Committee is hosting its annual Chili Cookoff from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 1228 Quincy Court, Hatfield. Adults are asked to give a $20 donation. The event features live jazz music, games, Election 2012 trivia, soft drinks, beer tasting and prizes. Cost for raffle tickets are $5 each.

2. Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association holds a Maple Sugaring program today from noon to 3 p.m. at 12 Morris Road, Ambler. Cost is $5 per person if you are a WVWA member, and $10 per non-member.

3. Head over to Hillside Farm’s “Sign up Gathering” and learn about Greener Partners and Hillside Farms Community Supported Agriculture. Meet farmers, talk to members and learn about benefits of a CSA and tour the farm from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Barr Hall, on the second floor of the farm’s administration building at 111 Elwyn Road, Media.

4. Honey Island Swamp Band performs its Americana on the Bayou at Sellersville Theater at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $19.50 and $29.50.

5. The Stoogeum, 904 Sheble Lane, Lower Gwynedd, holds an open house event today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
